The contractor employee shall meet education, training, and experience requirements as listed below. All documentation shall be required for review prior to start of work and records regarding licensure, certification, and life support training are to be kept up to date in the Joint Training Record (JTR)folders by the contractor.
EEG Technicians shall have a minimum of one (1) year of basic medical experience. The contract technician shall be proficient on the selection and placement of leads to detect electrical brain activity.
The contractor employee shall be able to read, write, understand, and speak English clearly to effectively communicate with all patients and other healthcare providers.
Perform Electroencephalogram Testing to determine electrical activity in the brain.
Perform patient assessment, past medical history if needed.
Obtain patient vitals.
Transfer/store tests performed on local servers for interpretation by HCP.
Appropriately utilize aseptic/sterile technique and perform site prep with antiseptic solution.
